Missing heart rate data

Got up this morning scrolling through the morning report, and everything is good. Closed it out and the report opened up again only for the watch to restart as I went to close it. Didn't think anything of it, but when I logged into the app there is a gap of missing data from 2:30 to 6:30 am. The data is in the watch just not showing up in the app. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

I had the same exact problem last night on my epix pro.

Everything ok on the watch but 4 hours of HR missing in Garmin Connect Android and Garmin Connect web.

Can it be the release of last Garmin Connect…

I have the same issue today on my epix gen 2 (software 19.41). It's really sad that no answer has been given so far...

Try to close and kill connect app and reopen again . It helps me to refresh data with hr missing.

Happened same thing to me 1 month ago, I posted here and no answer was provided.
we paid an expensive value in a beta watch and according to many fanboys here we must be happy with it just because competition is worse.

Did that, clear cache etc. No difference. That block of data just doesn't seem to exist on the server only on the watch.

That's what I was thinking. May also be related to the firmware but since so few of us are seeing it will call it a random event. So far everything seems fine.

Yes I thought about 16.22 releases as well as a possible cause. Moreover there was a maintenance of Garmin server yesterday evening, so maybe something went wrong last night.

I did a soft reset and removed/readded my watch on Garmin connect but it did help. Still data missing for 4 hours.

Have you synced your watch via Garmin express before syncing via phone app? I have the similar problem if I do syncing thru express instead of mobile app in the morning. Then all night data till wake up moment do not sync into garmin connect despite fact that watch have this data.

I recommend to Remove and Add a Device From the Garmin Connect App | Garmin Customer Support, then log a few minutes of steps and HR, and record a test activity, sync, and see whether it helped with the new data (it won't retrieve the lost data). If not, then have a look at the Troubleshooting guide for (some) data missing after syncing for more tips.

I've never used Garmin Express at all but I'm going to try it. Thanks for the advice
