[BUG] Sleep Mode

I just received an Epix Pro coming from a FR255. Absolutely love the watch but I discovered an annoying bug.

I have sleep mode set for 21:30-08:00. Some days I get up at 06:30-07:00 and then I want to toggle sleep mode off manually to start getting notifications etc. I was always able to do this on my FR255. I am able to do it on the Epix Pro as well; however, the watch then re-enters sleep mode after a couple of minutes. I assume this is because I am still in my "sleep window" (i.e. 21:30-08:00). I have tried it several times and done a soft reset of the watch (light button until it turns off) and it appears to work sometimes and sometimes not. My impression is that if I am "up and about" I am allowed to stay out of sleep mode when I toggle it off manually (even. though I am still in my "sleep window"); however, if I am just lying in bed it forces me back into sleep mode. I am on version 16.22.

Is it the same for you? Any ideas?

It's all normal, it always happens with me too regardless of the software version. Infact, when I'm on the night shift I constantly have to deactivate sleep mode... stressful. They should give the possibility to set at least three time presets to be set if necessary without having to change the hours of sleep each time

Thanks for sharing. It was working fine on my FR255 previously though. Had it for almost two years (since launch).

This is a known bug in 16.22.

Yes it is and Garmin is not really taking care of it.

I think i've had this issue during the previous beta cycle but only for a short period.

My schedule is 10:30 pm - 10:00 am but i usually wake up at 6:30/7:00am...not sure if it makes any difference but i turn off the sleep mode with the "start/stop" button that asks me "Do you want to end the sleep?" and after that i get my morning report and my watch stays in AOD without going back to the sleep mode.

I'm actually with the most recent beta version but didn't have any issue with the current stable release(16.22).

Nice...so based on how you exit from it actually changes the final result.
