Can't see music info

For past couple of weeks, music controls is blank. I usually play music on my phone (not any of the garmin connect apps like spotify)

I tried reinstalling connect app as well as reconnecting the watch to bluetooth (forget and re-pair) but still unable to see the info. I am able to control it however (like pause, play, etc.)

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with the Music Controls. Using the same watch model and 16.22 software version, I was not able to reproduce. Still seeing the song titled and able to control music…

Update April 24, 2024:

As CoolBlueSam mentioned, our engineers have indicated this concern should now be resolved with the release of the latest Connect app version 5.0.

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with this. I have not seen any other reports of this concern, as yet. So first I would like to have you try a couple initial troubleshooting steps.

Complete a hard reset. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting power off. Then power this on again.
Try accessing the music controls another way. Menu, Music, Music Player, Control Phone. You can also do this through the phone Controls menu by holding the Light button, then circle to Music.

Stesso problema con epix pro 51mm ...non vedo più le.informazioni..prima vedevo il titolo della canzone o l'artista ora tutto vuoto...solo pausa play ecc..bisogna risolvere sembrano cavolate ma non lo sono

I did all of this. I can cotrol the music but the Player does not show the titles anymore.

@Garmin-Laurie: when will your developers solve this problem?

It seems to be a garmin connect software issue since in another thread a lot of people with other watches have the same problem: Garmin Connect version for me is 4.77.1.

The answer from Garmin support on this issue was that they don't know when they will be able to solve this issue.

Still seeing the song titled and able to control music. So for those, experiencing this, I would like to try some additional troubleshooting, and collect some details if there is no change.

If you are not able to control the music at all, or if the music controls have disappeared, please complete a factory reset with these steps:

Then once reset:

Hold the Menu button
Select Music
Select Music Player
Select Control Phone
Then launch the phone's Music Player, and test the controls again.

If this is still not working, or if you are having another issue with the Music controls, please reach out to me via Private Message. I will collect some specific details to get this reported to our engineering team.

Io riscontro sempre il problema anche dopo ripristino..android 14 versione connect 4.77.1

Wrote a private message as last time. I'm just curious if I get more help like "factory reset" because I'm done up with that after uncount useless factory resets for the two months I've got the Epix Pro.

By the way: if it's really a garmin connect app problem on Android the factory reset is useless and Garmin professionals should know about this issue and shouldn't bother customers to do useless "factory resets"!
