I have had my Epix Gen 2 51 mm for the last 3 months. I have had multiple issues with the wrist heart rate. And I have been in touch with support. These were solutions suggested by them.
1. upgrade to Beta. The wrist hr issue will be solved.
2. wear your Watch higher and not near the wrist.
3. All Garmin watches have the same problem.
4. use the chest strap always
basically when I am at the gym and have done some deadlifts or squats the wrist hr on my watch shows that it’s only 46 when it’s actually 156. Even when I sit down after the exercise the hr fails to catch up.
I am disappointed at the ridiculous suggestions by support team.
My previous Garmin fenix 6x pro did not have this issue.
any suggestions ?
