When you wake up and ignore the wake up screen and go on sleeping for an hour, why isn't that detected as sleep?

By the way, what is the nap alarm in the garmin connect settings. There is no description in the manual nor in the app. Why can't Garmin give just a short explanation about that in the app?

Same issue with Samsung Galaxy watch

That's not true, my galaxy watch 4 always detected sleep correctly, even outside the setup schedule!

I can't understand that Garmin is not able to do that.

I complained a lot to Samsung, but they never fixed it. I sent them all logs and they did not even confirm receipt of the data, although they promised. And they did not not want to take the watch back. 

So you had the galaxy watch 4? For me, the sleep tracking with it worked perfect. And they really did make a lot of improvements. And when there was a bug in the software, it usually was solved in a month with the next update.

Seems like all manufacturers have their issues. And the service seems to be everywhere the same: really bad!

Let's see what Garmin will do about my watch now, I will give them the 10 days they claimed they need to fix all the issues.

But in general: the user interface of the Galaxy watch 4 was much more intuitive and for me the sleep tracking worked fine. The reasons for exchanging the Galaxy watch 4 with the Epix Pro were mainly the better battery life, better sports tracking and analysis and the map functions for hiking. Up to now the only thing they really do much better is the battery life.

Yes, but only because I fell for a marketing lie from Garmin. They can't fulfill the promises they make!

I can read it, or ignore and go back to sleep and I'm still credited with the additional sleep. Never had a problem.
