Treadmill Walking

Epix doesn’t seem to have a treadmill walking activity. What every one is using .

I am using regular walk then saving it . Am I missing something.

Your heart rate, physical data and duration determine your calories burned, not incline. The treadmill activity doesn't have any way to input the incline, either.

You'll have to do some outdoor walks with the GPS on to help calibrate the Indoor Walk, but I still occasionally have wildly inaccurate results with the Indoor Walk activity.

+1 on this. I'd like to know as well, since recording it as a run is very inaccurate.

I use the Treadmill Activity.

If you don't have it in your list of Activities, scroll down to the bottom of the Activities list on your watch and select Add to find Treadmill and add it to your list.

And what is the difference?
After you always could change activity type to walk.

Just make a copy of walking and disable satelites in it’s settings.

I use treadmill at an incline so wanted to capture it . Calories burned will be different. Ok

I was just trying to figure this out as I don't want the Treadmill walking to count as my running mileage, but want it to count as my walking... On my Garmin Fenix 7 Pro, there's now a Indoor Walk activity. Funny enough, it is under the running tab though.

More than anything, I just wish they would add the "Calibrate & Save" option to the Indoor Walk activity just like the Treadmill activity has. That would solve all of my problems.
