I switched from a FR 245 to an epix gen 2 pro last week and i have noticed some weird and inconsistent data.
first of all: Pace and pace alerts
When running in a defined pace rance, my watch notifies my via audio prompt if i go to fast or too slow. i have noticed that the audio prompts and the pace shown on the watch itself sometimes differ by up to 45 seconds. for example: i hear a warning that my pace is 6:30 and therefore to high and i look an my watch and see a pace of 7:10. why?
second: Intensity minutes
my watch didnt register intensity minutes of two activities this week. they were easy runs and mostly in zone 2. the first run of 40 mins didnt give me any intensity minutes while the second run of 40 minutes gave me only 9 minutes.
a similar run i did last week, when wearing the fr 245 gave me 50 intensity minutes. Why is there a difference? i had about the same amount of time in zone 3 and zone 2 (i personalized my HR zones after doing a lactate threshold test with a sports doctor, so they are accurate)
- additional info: i always run with the HRM pro cheststrap
third: lower stress readings and fast charging body battery
i noticed that the epix watch reads lower stress readings and my body battery charges much faster overnight. the only difference in my lifestyle is the watch, i havent changed anything else.
does anyone have any idea why that happens?
