Text reply with t9 keyboard already installed on the epix pro gen 2

Why do we not have the ability to reply to texts with the touch keyboard that is already installed on the epix pro gen 2 like you can on the Venu 3. The canned replies Re ok but would be nice to be able to write on the fly

T9 is coming to Fenix 8 Series, we shared the same components, then we can make a wish for Garmin not limiting it to the new models ...

It's standard for Garmin to intentionally cripple certain models so that not all models have all features
