Every day is Event Day

I had an event on 4th Feb 2024 and since then, the end of day report says it was Event Day. Every single day! I have no idea how to stop this happening. I checked the calendar and it's only marked on that one day. Not a multi day event or anything. Any ideas?

The only thing that worked for me was a hard factory reset.

Exactly the same here. Perhaps we even raced the same event (CPC? )

Hello MOO5E,

I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. Since I am not seeing any other reports of this concern be sure you are syncing with the Connect app successfully on the phone. Ensure as well that the Connect app is on the latest version. If you are doing this and there is no change, I would also like to have you try a few initial troubleshooting steps.

Powercycle the watch by holding the Light button, then select Power Off. Then power this on again, and see if this concern still exists.
Complete a hard reset on the watch. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as instead of selecting power off. Then power this on again. Sync with the app, and see if this changes with the next Daily Summary.

I tried a power cycle and still got the event day report today. I'll try a hard reset.

If you are running version 16.22 and this is still showing everyday as event day, I would like to help research this issue further. First, ensure you have completed these steps:

Powercycle the watch by holding the Light button, then select Power Off. Then power this on again, and see if this concern still exists.
Complete a hard reset on the watch. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as instead of selecting power off. Then power this on again. Sync with the app, and see if this changes with the next Daily Summary.

I face the same issue on a Garmin 965 on version 18.23. Had an event on the 10th of March and that day I didn't get the "event day" message but every day since I do. Also, I try to use the daily suggestions for my next race but every suggested workout is changed to "rest day" the day before. I assume it has also the do with this event day.

I tried the suggestions from Laurie without any luck. I will try a hard factory reset.
