Problem: epix gen 2 does not start up!

It's the first time that I get a big problem with my epix gen2 pro (v16.13). I left the Beta program today, no problem.

I decided to reset to defaults without loosing my data. After selecting it my epix shut down and restarts BUT stays on the start logo.

I can shut down by holding the light button and also start again, but it keeps hanging on the start logo.

Any idea what I can do???

I had an appointment this afternoon, so I let my epix switched off since 13:00, back at home at 20:00 I switched on my epix to see what will happen over night and ... my epix started on again and was loading some maps (till 8) and after a while I could do my settings ...

Short follow up: after I did my settings I tried to restore my data via the saved backup, but I was too quick with my fingers, because on page asked for standard settings and i clicked on the green ok ... yeah ... same procedure as in the beginning, only start page was visible and nothing else! So, again, at midnight I switched off my epix via long press on light-button and put it aside.

Today, 13 hours later, I started my epix and (as yesterday) it started and loaded the fit files, the 8 maps, checked the map and so on. it took a while until the ready message came up. After selecting the language I had to connect it to my phone, no problem. After this a message came up, that it is now restoring data from the backup, this came up two times and GC was very busy. After all, all my settings have been resored, only GarminPay I had to activate new.

What I learned: if the epix hangs up, switch it off and give it the time (more than 8 h) to unload all electric rest power and then try to start again ...
