I just got an Epix Pro 47mm Sapphire Titanium. Updated to firmware 15.77. Located in USA. I can get to the "finish setup", go through the various screens (skipped 2FA until I'm sure this works) and got to the part where the app loads on the watch "place your thumb and index finger, etc." But it's not reading anything, no matter where I put my fingers. It won't start the 30 second timer because it can't feel me touching the metal ring. Eventually "activation failed" popup on the app. Am I doing something wrong or did I get a defective watch?
I know I can't export data unless I submit to 2FA but that shouldn't stop me from using it on the watch, right? I want to make sure the feature works properly first.
