Yesterday my two months old Epix pro 51 screen was completely black when I came indoors. Thought the watch was off so I tried to power it on. Nothing.
Did a reboot with the upper left button and it came back normal, took a nap, when I stepped outside the house display was not visible anymore. Had brightness in 1/3 as usual, took it to 3/3 and the thing was barely visible under sunlight. Tried factory reset and a few other things but the brightness is now crippled to half of what I used to be, looks like the ambient light sensor is no longer working as there's no adjustment happening.
I've found a thread with folks with the same issue but, no workaround, looks like a hardware issue which makes me real sad. Any hints?
