The wrist heart rate on my epix 2 stops measuring when connected to an indoor bike

Hey, I ran into an issue today at the gym while using an indoor bike. The bike doesn't have a heart rate sensor and can only send my cycling power and rpm data to the watch. Even though the green LEDs on my watch were on, the heart rate sensor didn't work during my workout. I've got the latest update (15.77) installed, but the problem persists. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?

Had you started an activity on the watch?

Yes, even though the HR sensor on the watch was on during the activity, it was not measuring the HR. As I finished my workout and saved it, the HR data for that time was completely lost.

Did you set up "transmit HR" function to enabled?

Well, actually, I don’t want to transmit my heart rate to the trainer, and I don’t know if it will be enabled by default when you connect the trainer to your watch. However, as I looked at the Settings > Sensors > Wrist Heart Rate, there is an option named ‘Broadcast My HR,’ which is currently disabled.
