Epix Gen 2 Suddenly Lost Bluetooth and Wifi connections

I was happily running software 15.74 on my Epix Gen 2 without any issues at all.

One day last week I did three activities. The first two synchronised fine. When I went to sync the third one the watch would not connect to the Connect APP on my phone and hasn't reconnected since.

I have tried everything to try and resolve it:

I have soft reset the watch multiple times

I have done the same for the my phone which is an iPhone 13 Pro Max - and the issues persisted after updating from iOS 17.1.2 to 17.2.

I have removed the watch from the mobile connect APP and the phone's Bluetooth menu.

Now the watch won't reconnect to the phone's Bluetooth i.e. it won't pair in the usual way via the Pair Phone setting on the watch, not via the Connect Device via the Connect APP.

The watch does not show up in my phone's Bluetooth settings page.

I have deleted the Garmin Connect APP and reinstalled it, resigned in and still no joy.

I have fully reset the watch and gone through all of the above steps on multiple occasions, but still no progress.

The watch will also not connect to Wifi at all. This happened at the same time as the Bluetooth stopped connecting. When I try to connect it will not find any Wifi networks at all.

I have connected to the Garmin Express app via my windows PC for many days in a row and synced the watch, but nothing has changed.

I have just received 15.76 software after the latest sync, but this has still not brought back WiFi or Bluetooth, even though I have tried all of the steps above again several times

Any ideas as I have an expensive watch that's missing some very important features for me.
