Quick Fit Nylon Bands

They are really comfortable but not being quick fit is a big problem.

They remain wet for a very long time after activities and it’s very hard to exchange them during the day.

Has anyone used the Garmin silicon bands … 

I use them if I am going to doing extended water activities but don't need the added security of nylon i.e. spending day at the beach / dam etc but mostly just swimming i.e. no high speed/pressure water activities like surfing etc. As while my daily driver is nylon as more comfortable due to its flexability and infinite tightness setting (always find the holes in silicon aren't right for me as either slightly too tight or slightly too lose - will nylong straps its possible to get just right) and lightness - the garmin straps are approx 20g compared to 3g nylon hook and loop strap. Means my epix with strap weights in at around 50g instead of 70g -which can help reduce sweating when very active or its just a pig of a day with itense humidity. 

However when the straps get wet and you will be inactive with a wet strap drying on your wrist for a couple of hours - its not great, however straps are easy to swap and store, so usually put a couple of nylon and a silicon one in bag when go to beach and swap or wear silcon until I leave beach/dam/pool etc.

Garmin has two kinds of nylon bands heathered black nylon and tactical which one is more softer.

Both of them are quick fit
