Lag (several seconds) between button press and interval start in workouts

Hi, I have a EPIX GEN 2 watch sapphire black titanium version.

I purchased the watch in November 2022. I am generally very happy with it.

I do mostly running and pre-program my workouts in Garmin connect web.

Since this summer, the updates prompted two type of issues. One minor the other major:

1. Minor issue: At the end of each lap/interval, the watch used to show the outcomes (i.e. pace or time or distance) of the lap/interval in a fairly large font. This was great but is now gone and instead we have a small font showing the interval outputs. This is not that great

2. Major issue: Since this summer, there is a major issue with the workouts: I used to press the lap button to start button to start a new interval or simply to jump intervals. This used to be instantaneous, i.e. one presses the lap button, the watch vibrates and the interval starts immediately with the vocal instrucations playing as the interval starts. This has changed dramatically: When I press the button, I now have to wait several seconds, recently up to 8 seconds to get the vibration and to start the interval. I am not even sure when the interval is actually starting: When the button is pressed? When the watch vibrates? When the vocal instructions have stopped? Really really annoying and frustrating. ALSO, this is also true for "automatic" intervals, that is for intervals which are programmed based on time or distance and for which I don't have to press the button. For instance towards the end of an interval, the five "bips" are heard in the headphones. This used to meant that one second after the last bip, the watch would vibrate and the interval would stop. Not anymore. I hear the four or five bips and then nothing happens for 6 or seven seconds until the watch vibrates. During these six or seven seconds I can see that the watch does not show the current pace, rather it shows dashes, suggesting that the interval is done and I am in recover phase, but the watch then vibrates six or seven seconds later and only then comes the vocal report on the interval. Really confusing. Finally, another issue linked to this is that it has become very difficult to "jump" intervals. In the past, if I was tired or did not feel like it, I would jump through the intervals using the lap button and so end the workout. Not possible anymore. It is super cumbersome: When I "cancel" one interval, it first wants to play the whole vocal instructions, then lets me "jump" and then I need to press again on lap button. Meaning that if I want to cancel let say six intervals for whatever reason, I need to wait for all instructions and reports to be hears (approximately 12 seconds each time) to be able to jump. Super annoying. As I said earlier, it used to work perfectly before, this seems to be linked to new updates and is getting worse

I would be grateful if you had any insight into this issue
