Epix Pro (Gen 2) 15.74 not automatically detecting naps

Hi there, running 15.74 and my watch is not automatically detecting naps. This afternoon, I had a 40 minutes nap and in the widget no naps today. What are exactly the conditions that the watch automatically detects a nap? I am assuming a combination of heart rate, etc, but in my case nothing got detected. Could someone please help me? I already contact Garmin via chat. Thanks.

Improvements to the nap detection features on compatible Garmin products are planned to become release soon in the next month or so, around sometime in March.

It's doing the exact opposite for me. It said I took two naps today when I was actually awake. I wish we could disable this "feature." It's not ready for prime time. Garbage. Plus it impacts Body battery score negatively.

HR and stress values need to be low, and of course you need to be still.

Interesting…today the watch detect automatically a nap. I am still interested to know what are conditions the watch is going to detect or not a nap. I looked at HR, stress levels and looks like the same as the days I had a nap and the watch didn’t seem to detect it. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Two days ago, I had a 51-minute nap, and it got detected

Yesterday, I had a 42-minute nap, and it got detected.

Today, I had a nap, and it was not detected.

I am very disappointed. Taking naps is supposed to help with recovery and body battery, and today (again), I've got nothing registered,

Love Garmin. Please fix it.

Please look at this picture. Clearly, you see the body battery as a flat line due the nap. In other words, the nap helped to avoid the body battery sunk. However, the watch did not detect any nap :-(
