Sleep Mode - Button action in 15.74

Prior to 15,74 when pushing any button while in sleep mode the watch would display the time. Pushing the Up, Down, or Start button a second time would then activate the widgets or activity screen. Now in 15.74 when pushing the Up, Down, or Start button the first time in Sleep mode the watch will activate the widgets or activity screen. This is not a big deal other than while I am sleeping I have to remember to press the Back or Light button if I want to quickly see the time.

Anyone else experiencing this change?

Yes, very annoying, its not only in sleep mode - in gesture mode its the same. Another thing is that in gesture mode it takes more time for the watch face to appear when raising the wrist. As usual with garmin updates - they fixed one thing and broke another one. Like bad car mechanic...

Same for me.
in addition, if you use „start/stop“ button, it opens the activities menu and if you then hit „back“, sleep mode is ended instead of returning to sleep mode.

But isn’t this the Garmin Support Forum? Where would one address such things if not here? The whole Forum is basically full of bug reports, as far as I understand.

This is a User forum - not Garmin Support. We, as fellow Users, can try to help with common problems; but if you want Garmin to address your issues you must contact Garmin Support in your area.

I think it's a deliberate choice to solve this complain https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/epix-2/343300/stopwatch-stop-button-turn-on-screen-instead-of-stopping.

I'm not a big fan of this change but, from a software development and user perspective, it may have sense to have the watch working coherently regardless of the app you are using.
