Thank you for taking the time to let us know what you are experiencing on your Epix Pro watch after updating to the v15.74 software. We will be happy to look into it further to have our engineering team resolve the behavior. Thanks again.

How can this be still happening on v15.76. It is so annoying especially for someone who does one or two workouts a day.
At the moment, you are the only report worldwide. Can you replicate the issue each time? If so, please highlight my name and send me a Private Message. Thank you.
I managed to resolve the problem. Here's what I did:
In the Settings menu, under System, then Display, and finally General Use, there's an option for Red Shift. It was set to "On". I switched it off.
It seems the watch operates in one of three Display modes: Activity, General Use, and Sleep. Previously, I was deactivating the Red Shift through the Quick Settings, but this didn't alter the Red Shift setting for the General Use Display mode. Consequently, whenever the display transitioned from Activity to General Use or from Sleep to General Use, it reverted to its default Red Shift setting, which was "On".
Therefore, it appears this isn't a bug but rather an intentional feature. However, I think a more effective solution would be to synchronize the Red Shift setting so that turning it on or off via Quick Settings (or Controls) would apply to that mode.
I am happy to hear the good news! Thank you for the update and the feedback.
I spoke to garmin chat today as I’m trying to decide sapphire or standard gen2 pro and they said no red shift on sapphire only standard. I don’t understand this to be correct reading this messages ?
I am sorry you were given wrong information. The Red Shift feature is part of our outdoor AMOLED watches as long as their software is updated.
LOL, I love how "Garmin Chat Person" doesn't know this and yet they find it okay to tell you something they clearly don't know. Almost all software features including Red Shift are shared between Epix Pro and Epix Gen 2. The only major difference (hence some software features might be different) is the new HR sensor on the Epix Pro.
