HRM Tri is paired with Epix, but doesn't show up as gear in Garmin Connect activity report

I have used an HRM-Pro belt with my Epix for about year. Recently the HRM-Pro died, so I paired my older HRM-Tri with the watch. It shows up under "Sensor", says battery ok, last date checked today @ 12:47pm.

I've run 3 times with the Tri, and it doesn't show up under the list of gear in the activity record on Garmin Connect. It shows my watch and Stryd Pod, but no HRM belt at all. All my previous reports shows the HRM-Pro.

Before today's run, I unpaired both belts, then re-paired the Tri to see if that would help, but it still doesn't show up on Connect.

I tried an experiment where I was wearing the belt but didn't have the Epix on my wrist, and started an activity. The Epix displayed heart-rate, so it gets HR data from the belt. But it still didn't show the belt in the activity report.

Any ideas on getting the HRM-Tri to show up in the activity report?

It’s not meant to show up there.

Only newer generations like the Pro will be shown.

I have an HRM-Dual and HRM-Pro+ and both show up in the gear list. Not sure why the Tri doesn't show up in the gear list since GC obviously knew it was used due to the sensor/battery report. My Tempes don't show up in the post activity gear list either even though they show up in the sensor/battery list.
