Epix Gen 2 Sapphire Won’t Power On

Earlier today I got an alert that my watch had low power. I was sitting directly in front of my charger at the time, so I plugged it in immediately. An hour or two later I took the watch off the charger and noticed the screen was off. I attempted to turn the screen on several different ways; holding start/back, holding the light button, and simply holding start, all of which I tried both while the watch was plugged in and while unplugged. I have tried to connect it to Garmin Express but the application couldn’t find my watch and neither could the Garmin Connect app on my phone. The green HR sensor light still turns on if I pass my finger over it, but no other part of the watch will respond.

  • Did you try to hold the light button until it switchs off? Try that hard reset…

  • I have a similar concern. My watch was low on power so I plugged it in. Picked it up after about 30 mins and went to wear it and noticed later that my watch was not notifying me when I received a call or text. So I found this on the web. Held the light button only to have it light up on the epix pro screen for a few min then turn off. What did you find out on yours?

I perviously had the Fenix 5x plus and loved it.. outside of the watch started to count stairs when I did go up any stairs.. lol

Unfortunately, I have had nothing but problems with this watch since day one. I have to carry my phone with me while I run since the bluetooth continues to disconnect and reconnect with my headphones for music. So I carry my phone and it's still disconnects from it as well with my phone on me in my hand or pocket. Also, it disconnects when I get about 5 feet away.. Not sure if I got a dude but the reviews were all outstanding..

  • i have the same issue! The green HR sensor light still turns on if I pass my finger over it, but no other part of the watch will respond. The display stays off, whatever I do!
