Epix (Gen 2) Hindi font issue

Hi all,

I recently purchased my first Garmin watch (Epix gen 2) whenever I receive a notification in my Garmin device that contains Hindi characters, the watch displays "?" instead of the actual letters. As per my little understanding, Garmin doesn't support the Hindi language, but is there any way to show the correct front for the messages?

Unfortunately since Hindi is not a supported language, it does not recognize the font being used. So there is not a way to correct this.

is there a way to add Hindi as a language ! perhaps I can help code it !

Hi, language file could help to undertsand how it works, but it's different from the notification process that only show the text like it is received.

I open French and Chinese

ID are used to identified system text

The files are on your watch /Garmin/Text (if i remember right)

Unfortunately, the language file cannot help with Hindi, because the device does not have the fonts. So even if you translate the language file, only placeholders (typically �) will be shown instead of Hindi characters.
