No, there is not a way to alter the volume of the tones

but they say they did not changed it :)

can you make a video with both of them to compare? maybe they understand that something is broken

Decided to just return as Garmin won't do anything and doesn't care. Not going to risk keeping it past the return policy.  Had the same problem with a instinct 2x I bought which also got returned. Very low beep volume. Not paying 1K anymore for a subpar item. No reason to have such a low volume. The epix 2 pro came with 13.xx firmware so it was already low then I updated to the 14.68 and seemed even lower. 

Set mine to vibrate don’t need to hear it beep as I can’t hear my phone when it rings either when I’m using certain plant at work also makes notifications more private.

My Epix 2 Pro arrived yesterday and I also noticed quieter sounds (while running) than the Fenix 7 and 7x I had before.

Too bad I did an update and didn't check on the previous software.
