They need to get the approvals from the EU authorities first, and that takes a lot of time. The bureaucracy in the EU is much worse than in the USA
Ok, but why i can't use it with my responsability?
Because the regulations do not allow it.
You have to ask your lawmaker and not Garmin.
I am reading articles stating how you can enable ECG outside of US with a few IT tricks - has anyone done this for the Epix 2 Pro?
Techncially there is nothing stopping garmin for allowing the use of the app outside of the USA - i..e doing what Polar has with its vantage -but difficult to do when already approved in a couple of countries (USA, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Vietnam) and allowing unapproved use in other countries - can potentially give incorrect idea. As polar ecg isn't approved in any country they just state it isn't medically approved - use as you will.
Dc Rainmaker review says you can activate it in the United States and then if you leave the country, it will still work wherever you go. Of course, if you can come to.the US...

Indeed you can; installed it in New Zealand. And the good thing is that the ECG app remains even after a reset and restore.
Hi @philipshambrook - can you perhaps share the steps you took (even Private Message if you want) . Or is the same as people posted for the Venu?
The internet will provide all the answers.
