answer calls when we don't have headphones

I've always wondered what's the point when a call comes in having the option to accept the call if I don't have my phone handy? I can understand the decline button so as not to be disturbed. The only use would be to at least start the call on speakerphone when I accept the call. Could this be a feasible solution with possible updates?

    Depending on the app brining the call in, its possible once the call has been accepted and started to press teh start button and there is an option to turn on the phone loudspeaker.

    However if you have a headset connected to your phone, and then accept the call - no need to worry, plus then have a mic in place, so can talk. If phone in  pocket and accept the call - you may just be able to hear, but the caller aint going to be able to hear unless shouting and maybe not even then so would again make sense that if taking a call you would have to pick up the phone anyway.

    If planning to use a headset (while working etc) having that accept call on the watch is a massive help as don't need to do anything re phone.

    ok I will try to see if there is some option that allows me to immediately activate the speakerphone when I accept the call

    I use it when my phone is in my pocket or briefcase and I don't want to miss the call while I fish out my phone. I accept the call on my watch and then I don't have to rush to take out my phone. I usually say, "Hi, please hang on a second" while I take out my phone so the person knows I'm there.
