Also, does the screen on the sapphire version have lower brightness compared with the non-sapphire version?

I think so.
The sapphire's reflexions can be an issue on Fenix but NOT on Epix AMOLED technology as the light comes from beneath the display.
I wouldn’t wear it. I’d be too conscious of what others think ;)
with light sand band and maybe swapping it out for other bands - don't see why not - not particularly usual and not my taste, but not unusual for guys to have gold bezel watches - but more usually with a black body.
With the cream heathered nylon band - no way - don't go there - though you could always swap out the band.
I had the same contemplation and decided against the golden bezel for a male. In addition, a golden bezel looks rather cheap, I think. Finally, the watch is a instrument for me, not a fashion accessory.
Also, at least in Germany, the golden version only comes in 42mm. The weak battery and smallish screen put me off.
Ultimately I decided for the 47mm white version with sapphire glass and titanium bezel and caseback. I am happy with my choice.
Black was no option for me, because the bezel tends to get small dings or scratches and then the black coating is gone.
they are more for girls. buy better 47 mm
