I configured my Epix 2 with a hotkey for the light button. Pressing it long started the torch screen.
However, after upgrading to the new 14.31 it doesn't work anymore. There is no hotkey on the light button anymore. Please bring that back.
I learned that if you push twice the light button it brings up the torch screen. But I want to push only once...
AFAIK That has never been possible, since that is the shortcut for controls. Maybe you think of the Start key and that is still possible.

Unless my own memory is slipping, the Light key, by itself, has never been available to be used as a hotkey because, as PallMe pointed out, it has always been the shortcut to open the quick access menu…
I was able to set the flashlight with a hot key (back button)
System > Hot Keys
