Garmin Epix suddenly dying, charger says 100%

Had around 70- 80% battery, and looked at it just an hour ago.

Knew I missed some steps for my goal so walked around a bit in the house, never paid attention to the watch. Then sat down a bit at the computer. Now that I was going to see how much I had gotten the watch didnt respond at all. Its in night mode and no touch enable so used the buttons as I did on my old f6. But it did not respond at all.

Plugged it in and the watch powers on and instantly says 100% battery (the instant it turned on, so no way it just randomly 100% charged up to that in 1 second).

After removing it from the charger (while being 100% charged according to the watch) and died instantly and can do nothing, screen just turns black, does not respond and my phone lose its Bluetooth connection to it. If i plug it in it starts again and same thing, 100% battery and phone connects to it.

Is my battery completely dead? Tried googling and checking reddit but didnt find anyone with a similar issue, just people with watches dyiny and/or fast drain. Not one with my case where watch says 100% when i plug it in.

Anyone have any tips? I tried soft reset. Also tested several charges.

Summary:

Before this battery drain seemed, normal, maybe 12% a day with gps activity per day. No pulseox, no AOD. Now it just died at roughly 70-80%, putting in charges it starts with its start animation and instnatly says 100% (obv isn't true..). Remove the charges and it instadies.

Kind regards,
