Epix 2 and Epix 2 PRO different software versions?

Hello,

Just got an Epix 2 PRO, registered it in the Garmin Connect web app to the beta program and it downloaded and installed the updated software version 13.22.

Before I was using an Epix 2 and the latest beta software installed is the 14.23 version, updated from the 13.22 version.

It means that the two watches use different versions of software updates. Is that ok?

Though strangely the updated software version of the newer watch has the same number of the previous version of the older watch.

For your information 14.28 was removed today and maybe Beta update through OTA are all freezed until next 14.29 version ?

Hello,

Thank you for remembering me about Secure_config. I installed it on the Epix 2 but not yet on the Epix 2 PRO.

I understand then that since some users had malfunction issues with the 14.28 they are not allowing to install any version from 14.23 to 14.27. No problems though. We'll wait the 14.29.

I was surprised anyway that the Epix 2 PRO out of the box had a 12.75 version installed with the functionalities that the Epix 2 got only when it updated to the 14.23 version. So I thought that the two watches (which I understand are identical) use different software, or at least the same software with different number (version name). Which is pretty confusing.

Doesn't fit in the thread but my 7pro also had version 12.75 at delivery.
