I've experiencing some weird behavior since I got my Epix Pro regarding screen timeout (general use).
I set it to 4s but it always stays for 8s (minimum). Is that just me?

Are you using a Connect IQ watch face or a default watch face that came with your watch?
If you are using a Connect IQ watch face, it was a change deliberately made with the v13.22 software update.
Please…
Thanks Chris.
Its a stock watch face. I just performed the soft reset and the display options for general use remain on 4s.
It seems that the 4s are now being respected, thank you!
Just continue pressing the top left button until the watch turns off. Emergency message is only sent if you release the button before the watch turns off.

Please try the following:
- Soft reset your watch by holding down your top left button until your watch shuts off then go.
Double check your System > Display settings and try the 4s, 8s, 15s options under General Use to see if there is any change in behavior.
Garmin - Chris, is this instruction regarding soft reset really accurate. When I hold down (long press) the left top button (light) then it will show some options where one of them is to power off watch but that requires a click on the top right button. If I instead continue to hold down the top left button it will send emergency message, not doing a soft reset
