Gaming sport mode

I saw with the recent updates that there's a gaming sport mode, is this used for VR gaming like Beat Saber and Fit XR or something else entirely like Zwift?

Just asking before I spend a bunch of time trying to bluetooth connect my Epix 2 to the Quest 2.

I don't know 100% but I think you won't be able to connect it to Quest 2. I know that Garmin a while back released a gaming edition of Instinct. It had a gaming app which you could use to connect to computer through StreamUP app and then the watch would send data to computer to overlay your metrics (heart rate,...) on stream. I think something similar will be in this app.
