Love everything Garmin. Well almost, LOL. The one thing I have always never understood is why they don't have the ability to load in all the watch faces from other models. I do understand that the Marq line is unique (I used to have the older Aviator). I get that.
BUT..
I hate to have to make a buying decision based on the OEM watch faces (I don't like downloading IQ ones, as they always seem to have issues and frankly are not what I am looking for). Especially with the new AOD displays etc. I just plain want the other OEM faces on the Forrunner watches, but want everything else this Epix has to offer.
I would love to have the 965 style faces also avail on the Epix. (or just more normal and less "Transformers" looking designs in general). I think for anyone coming from a Forunner would understand. Frankly, my fav. faces of all time are on the 955 series watch. I am SO tempted to return the Epix and re-buy the 955 series because of this and that is sad. I should be able to get the AMOLED version of the 955 series faces on my new, top of the line Epix. Period.
What's more frustrating, is that I see there is one preloaded to tease me.. (yellow one) that looks kinda like a running one, but you can't change ANY of the color or data fields. This alone is very frustrating. I mean, seriously what is the point of this?? Showing me you CAN do it,, yet won't go all the way. Come on! There should be some place where users can download ALL of the OEM Garmin faces (except special ones on the Marq line).
