So, on the MIP displays, there was the option for gesture after sunset. That was a nice option and of course not needed on an AMOLED watch.
However..
In my use case, indoors most of the day the AOD is great. No gesture is needed to see it. But, walk outside for lunch or walk the dog.. gesture is needed. Rather than having gesture on all the time (can be annoying) perhaps use the light sensor to have an option of when in BRIGHT conditions use gesture :-)
This would accomplish two things:
1. Better battery life
2. Less distracting for the rest of the day when its not needed.
:-)
