Software feature - Ultra low brightness for normal use

Hi, could you please add Ultra low brightness not only for sleeping mode, but also for general use! To squeeze out some battery life ;-)
Would be great :-) ...

  • Turn off always on display and gesture and just use the buttons that’s what. I do and I can get around 18 days from the 51mm pro sapphire tracking my commute twice a day.

Can’t see the point in having the display on if you’re not looking at the watch!

  • I'm an AOD user and a blank display looks ridiculous to me. Also, I would like the ultra low brightness setting because the Epix display is too bright in low light and dark conditions on the current low setting.

  • I would love this feature. With AOD on, I find the display just a little too bright.

  • Great idea. I do have the AOD off, but wrist gesture on (I want to be able to see the time even if I don't have the other hand free to press the button, especially when walking to the bus/train with luggage in the other hand) and I would like to turn down the brightness even more when inside. It does auto adjust brighter outside anyway. The extra low brightness is available for night mode, so why not make it available for day mode too Slight smile

    • You can turn off the gesture with AOD  on and the brightness remains low, although not ultra low… I would like to have several modes and activate them with a single press. For example, one with AOD on and gesture off and other with AOD off and gesture on
  • One of the reasons I would like the extra low brightness is battery saving, so AOD makes no sense to keep it dim. Even with wrist guesture off, AOD runs down the battery 3x as fast. Even the brightness of AOD is more than enough, so ideally I'd like to be able to turn the brightness down in small steps all the way to almost invisible. The 5% steps from 5 to 100 on my Fenix 5 was nice.

I would also like a quicker way to switch settings. At work as a waitor, I have to keep AOD on because I need to be able to see the time without the obvious body language flipping my wrist projects to the guests. I keep AOD off before and after my shifts. The fastest way now is a hotkey to display settings. A hotkey for AOD on/off at the same time as gesture off/on would be greatly appreciated! Slight smile
