I have a new Epix Gen 2 (not Pro) and every course I've downloaded and used so far stops updating within one mile into course. If I do the same route by just starting the activity as a walk/hike. everything works as expected.
- Latest software/maps installed.
- Satellite signal is OK (set to default). No obstructions on any of the courses.
- I download course and select "Do course" from the watch. Everything is OK at start.
- Nothing fancy with walk/hike settings. I've tried turn alerts off and on, and off course on and off, and activity still stops updating at around .8 miles.
- I created two courses Garmin Connect. I downloaded two courses are from All Trails. All fail updating within a mile.
- Following course "manually" by just starting walk or hike works fine. No issues.
- "Soft reset" or reboot updates current location, but does not resolve the issue and does not update afterwards.
My main purpose is to use saved courses. So far it's not worked at all.
Any ideas? Or is this a bug?
