Given that with the Epix 2 I had plenty of problems with Bluetooth headphones (I couldn’t use my Beats Fit Pro or my AirPod Pros) I thought I’d report on Bluetooth headphones on the Epix Pro 51mm. So far my Shokz OpenRun work as expected (they were the most reliable with my Epix 2). I also just picked up a pair of the new OpenFit from Shokz and was curious if they would work given they are smaller. Well I can report after at last two runs (where previous headphones failed without lots of cut outs) they have worked flawlessly.
I’m not sure if the Bluetooth hardware in the pro is better than the epix was and it’s’ something I haven’t been able to find out the answer to. I may try the Beats Fit Pro again with my Pro to see if they work better than the old Epix.
Has anyone else had better luck with headphones on the newer Pros?
