The red color of the sensor is visible, but I have never received any readings as I have not strayed
you are moving to much - movement can cause inaccurate readings - so rather than just giving you an inaccurate reading they now require yoiu to hold still to get one. Keep trying until you hold still enough for one.
I also have this problem, but I don’t agree regarding movement, I’m completely still but no reading anyway. Have also moved the watch on the arm, change how firm it sits, but no avail.
Another symptom that something is wrong is that when setting it for continuous readings, or during night time, the clock face is being lit up every 4-5 seconds. This seems a bit strange.
I have had many Garmin devices with Spo2 sensors without problems, the previous was an Epix 2 that I had when climbing Kilimanjaro last year without any problem.
I think something is wrong, hopefully software related that can be fixed by an update!
You must hold your arm very still. At home I put my arm during this measurement on e.g. a table,
I have actually tried exactly what you are suggesting without any success. More times that can count by now without one reading.
I think it’s a bit strange because if it’s so rigid, the function to do continuous reading throughout the day seems a bit unnecessary.
Do anyone have an idea why the watch face is firing every other second if pulse oximeter is set to continuous or night reading. I mean to have a watch that is blinking all night long is rather inconvenient.
I believe there is something wrong.
I reset the clock through the developers menu and everything started working
Hi and thanks. Tried that now, and unfortunately nothing changed. Also tried to re-install software through the developers menu but no success.
