Epix Pro Gen 2 Sapphire hangs at logo startup screen

My Epix Pro 51mm sapphire is less than a week old and it will no longer startup properly. It hangs on the startup logo screen. Powering it off and on has just leads to it hanging again. Tried connecting it to Garmin Express on PC but wont connect. My next step is to contact Garmin support in Australia after the weekend.

Had the Same after a reset and start the watch again. After a while (20min) it worked again

I waited a couple of hours but it wouldn’t start

No I don’t think so. I had to update the software when I first got it. 3 days l later it hung. I had to restart it because it wouldn’t connect to phone via Bluetooth.

this happened the first couple of times where it would eventually start after 10 plus mins but now won’t even do that.

Garmin support have have worked through lots of options and resets. After doing a master reset it does load but takes a long time to load, and it won’t connect to phone or the wifi. My guess is it’s a hardware issue. Trying to get a replacement. It’s now been two weeks and it only worked for the first 3 days. Quite frustrating.

After two weeks of trying various resets Garmin have replaced my watch with a new watch. After a week of using it for different activities it’s working great!!! Enjoying the new features like morning report, body battery and the excellent screen. Also find the light useful at times. Battery life seems excellent even with pulse ox on all the time.
