LAP numbers - running activity

When you start a running activity, at the lap alerts the watch shows "1.00" in the first row at every lap, which is the length of the default LAP, not the number of which lap / km you finished. Same error on Enduro 2 too.

Watch: EPIX PRO GEN 2 51 - software 13.22

With the walking activity it works perfectly - it displays the actual finished lap.

Whes starting a running activity and press the manual lap button, it also shows correctly the finished laps number. The error is with the default, 1 km autolap only.....

Any ideas?

Hi Nandi42k,

At the weekend I found by accident that the "problem" at least for me only exists when I have a training active on the watch. If I just run without starting a training, then the lap counter is displayed appropriately.

I tried with training and also without training. The problem exist both cases. But only with the running activity. It's okay with walking....

U mnie tylko jak mam trening z sugestii to źle liczy, jak odpalam normalny trening to jest ok.

How the lap alert is now being presented was a change made by engineering to always to show your Autolap distance each time vs. the lap number each time your Autolap distance is achieved. The change made is by design and was intentional with the v13.22 software.

We cannot guarantee it will be reversed but if you would like it reversed to pre-v13.22 software, please highlight my name and send me a Private Message. Thank you!

Thanks for the answer. I do not really understand why would somebody wants to see the autolap distance in every lap. I think 99.9% of the runners use 1 km as the lap distance, so I do not really need to see this in every lap. but when you run, you are interested how many kilometers you have run already. it is possible to wait 8 seconds and then look again to the screen to see the number of kms. BUT! If you use the map screen while navigating you have to press several times the buttons to get to a screen where you see the kms you have run..... this is hard while running.....

Is this going to change? As others have said there is no point in alerting a runner that they have completed 1km without making the count cumulative. We are interested in HOW MANY laps we have completed.
