maybe I'm missing something but I cannot find the red shift mode in the new Epix Pro.
I looked in the appearance settings for the controls but cannot find it.
Any input would be great

Has anyone turned on the After Sunset option for Red Shift mode? It seems like it turns on reasonably close to sunset, but never actually turns Red Shift mode off when the sun rises in the morning (which…
Guys, just got Epix Pro, updated software to 13.22*, but I do not see Red Shift neither in Display settings nor in Controls.
Anyone else on 13.22* not seeing Red Shift ?
Thanks but that the problem, its not there. I looked in the appearance settings to try to add it. Still not there.
Just curious if anyone else has it missing
Yes, all you need to do is to place two files gupdate.gsp and force.tmp (just an empty file with such name and extension) under GARMIN folder on your watch. As soon as you disconnect your watch from the computer - it will propose you to update the software to 13.22
Thanks for the quick response. I tried but it didn't work for me. gupdate.gsp file is now gone after I disconnected the watch from the computer. The software version did say 13.22* before I tried the procedure and that did not change. The host still says 12.71 in the About section. I'm going to work with Garmin support unless you have additional tips. Thanks very much
You need to place file force.tmp in GARMIN folder as well. Not only gupdate.gsp. It is important. If you place just gupdate.gsp - it will not force installation and will just delete the file. force.tmp is just an empty file, you need to create it manually.
Correct. I did place force.tmp in the Garmin folder with the gpudate.gsp. It removed the gpupdate.gsp when i checked again but the force.tmp was still there in the directory.
I have the same issue. I set it to turn on red shift after sunset, however, it never turn off after sunrise. It's a software bug.
