New iphone, can't connect to Epix 2

Hi.

Recently bought an iphone14 Plus upgrading from iphone 12. I was trying to sync my Epix 2 to the new iphone, the bluetooth pairs and i get the 6-digit number prompt to pair. the watch would then say it is paired successfully but the it doesn’t show in My Day. It also does not show in my devices in Garmin Connect.

Tried having Garmin Connect detect the watch but it fails so the "CONNECT IT" icon does not show.

Heartrate and breathing metric work, but training status, hrv, sleep etc. do not show.

I already tried all of the troubleshooting tips from youtube, reddit, etc. (removing the watch from my former iphone, forgetting as bluetooth device, also factory reset the watch) but nothing works.

Start right from the beginning. Remove the phone from Garmin Connect if it's there. Go to Bluetooth settings on the phone and 'forget' the watch if it's there. Then just to be sure, shutdown and restart…

go in watch settings - connectivity - phone - pair phone and after that try to connect

Start right from the beginning. Remove the phone from Garmin Connect if it's there. Go to Bluetooth settings on the phone and 'forget' the watch if it's there. Then just to be sure, shutdown and restart the iPhone. Shut down and restart the watch.

On the watch go to Connectivity, Phone, Pair Phone. Scan the QR code which will then lead to Garmin Connect opening. Follow the prompts from there.

If that doesn't work, contact Garmin Support.
