Feature Request: Being asked about the equipment used at the end of the activity

Hello,

ii it possble being asked about the equipment used at the end of the activity?

I found no option in the settings.

Currently I always have to specify the shoe or bike used afterwards in the app or on the web, I often forget and I would like statistics on what equipment I used and how many km.

No but sounds like a nice feature. But I guess they would also have to first address that only 3 sports can have default equipment to not get a large list on the watch to select from.

I would like them to put a count of the equipment not only of the km used but also of the hours/minutes

I would like this feature !!! When you have several running shoes it would help to follow the number of KM for each.

That's currently not possible, since the watches do not handle gear at all. This is done on the server side, in the GC account. It would require the complete rehaul of the Gear functionality. Which, frankly told, is needed since a longer time, but it looks like Garmin has no spare development manhours available for such a major task. Still, I recommend suggesting it to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin - if there are numerous requests there, there is perhaps a chance they put it on their todo list (if it is not already there).

You can set it to use a certain pair of shoes or a certain bike as default for a certain activity. It will use those for all activities as required.

Yes I set up a default but as I alternate my running shoes depending of my training, I have to change the equipment afterwards.

If you found out how it can be done, may I ask you to share that experience with the community?

I would like the same thing to be possible but didn't find the correct options / settings yet.

No... It's not possible for the moment... Maybe whit a update If programmers will take the advice into consideration
