Unable to install Spotify

Hello folks,

I'm trying to install Spotify on my new Garmin Epix Gen2 but I receive the message that I have to make an update of my watch. But when I'm looking for an update I have the info that my firmware is up to date (8.45)

Please see attached printscreens.

What is the actually firmare version? If mine is not the right one, how can I manually install this update?

  • on the watch long press the menu button (left middle), then use the up button (left middle)- one press,to scroll to system, press start button (right top) to select - press up button (left middle) - press start (right top) to go into About . Should show unit ID number and software version. Is that 11.28 or is it 8.45 or something else?

    As you watch firmware isn't current version of 11.28 it needs updating, however if Express is showing 8.45 and watch is showing 11.28 there is an issue - see above link as to how to resolve. If watch and Express are showing 8.45 you just need to update watch to 11.28 - once updated you should be able to uninstall spotify.
