LTR changed => invalid zones definition

After an automatic zone update based on a changed LTR the zones are invalid.

Zone 4 has reverted boundaries and zone 3 + zone 5 got boundaries as if zone 4 is not present.

Is this a known bug? If not, is Garmin reading here or can I somewhere report this bug?

Changing to maxHR and back to LSHF fixed the issue and recalculated the zones.

  • Your setting is based on %LSHF (Laktat-Schwellen-Herz-Frequenz / in english: Lactate-Threshold-Heart-Rate), that's about 90% Maximum-Heartrate, therefore you can go above 100% of LSHF.

You could also set it to "based on %Max HR", then 100% is the "redline" which your body can't exceed (under normal health conditions).

  • I had the same issue yesterday (on the beta firmware)... I've tried resetting the zones and will see if that takes.

I find it particularly annoying since when my LTTH decreased the watch seemed to update my zones correctly, but when my threshold increases again it seems to screw up the zones.
