Temperature sensor

It’s for barometric sensor temperature compensation. 

Thats such a good question! I know its for barometric, but why not somewhere where it can measure the temp without the body temperatur, or measure only body temperature :)

Skin temperature is not the same as body temperature…

So what.

It could measure skin temperature.

And now it measures.. (checking user manual).. nothing while on wrist. 

It could. But that would be wrong because it needs to measure the ambient temperature at the sensor. Garmin would need to add a second sensor.

I have buy Garmin tempe....  for measute the temperature when i make the activity

I know it shows water temperature correctly when doing an open water swim. And it is also accurate if you check during a pool swim

Temperature sensor is disabled during a pool swim.

You can still check it if you have temperature added in glances.  I check it after I have completed my swim.and it's accurate. Not sure why they don't have it enabled and logged like in open swim mode.  Our lap pool is usually 79F and dive pool 82F
