I bought the Epix in December and like it's look and it's functions a lot. However, I was shocked at how inconsistent the software is with respect to the time graphs the watch provides:
- For air pressure, it shows the last 24 hours and the graph can be scrolled back and forth in time, even up to 36 hours back.
- For pulse ox, it shows the last 24 hours and the graph cannot be scrolled.
- For steps and floors, it shows the last 12 hours and the graph cannot be scrolled.
- For intensity minutes and body battery, it shows the values since midnight and the graph cannot be scrolled.
- For heart rate, temperature and altitude, it shows the last 4 hours, but the graph can be scrolled back 24 hours.
- For respiratory rate and calories, there is no graph at all.
- And for stress, it only shows the last 4 hours, it is not possible to scroll any further into the past, there is no way to get an overview over the stress of the last night just from the watch. I have to go into Garmin Connect for that.
It's much better implemented on the Venu 2s. Here for everything (heart rate, body battery, stress, pulse ox, steps, floors, intensity minutes & calories) it shows the last 4 hours and I can scroll back until midnight. It would be better if I could scroll back for 24 hours, but at least it is consistent across all metrics.
Has nobody else noticed this? This hasn't been mentioned in any review or comparision of the Epix 2 I came across. How do you feel about it?
I am really annoyed by this and would love to see this corrected in the next firmware update! Alas, I haven't got much hope that Garmin will do anything about this.
Please, Garmin, update at least the presentation of the stress graph!
