Has the ultra low brightness settings been removed ?! General use / activity

I changed my brightness setting earlier to low briefly and now can't change it back to ultra low. I was able to do this via the app previously. Has it been removed?

Ive had my epix 2 since May 2022 and have always had it set to ultra low for general use. Low is just too bright for my usage. Needs to be brought back ASAP if it has been removed.

I just checked and 'General use" and "During activity" display settings have 3 levels - "During Sleep" has 4 levels! Was the 4 level brightness setting the "Ultra low" setting you are looking for?

Yes. Previously ultra low was available on "general use" and "during activity" also. You couldn't select it on the actual watch itself but it could be selected on via the watch settings on the app.

I've had my watch on ultra low brightness for "general use" since owing, so 10 months now. Not happy at all of this is no longer an option.

Hi. Is this option available? I’m considering to purchase an Epix 2 but I’d do it only if it’s possible to keep it in a very dim light during evening or when at home.

it has an ambient sensor so generally brightness level isn't really an issue.

When you set your watch to go into sleep profile, sleep profile has an extra dim setting. This extra dim setting is really designed for being in total darkenss and find that setting this to the extra dim, plus swtiching off touch makes a big difference and even when its very dark it isn't too birght - its very very dim.

I liked the the ultra low setting for general/activity as well but it went away months ago - surprised you still had the setting applied on your watch and that it didn't default back to low once the option went away in the app

It was available but it has been removed and can only be set when in sleep mode. It's a real shame and I hope it's brought back soon. The lowest setting is far to bright at night.

Wish I hadn't changed it now. I really miss the ultra low setting at night. Hopefully it will be brought back as it's not a big implementation. Can't really understand why it was removed.

Thanks everyone for the feedbacks. So, now, the only way is to activate sleep mode earlier or simply when you prefer a soft light aalso maintaining the watch face you want, right?
