Is this new? never seen it before.
also why is the Epix only partially compatible and my FR255 not?

Where did you find that setting? Or maybe it appears only if one got more than one watch registered...
Yes it arrived on the Connect website yesterday I noticed and I see a GC App update today (under which setting is that on the GC App?) ...A change log for both these systems would be very nice ...I can dream!
This is how it looks on the GC Web Site
I am guessing that your Epix is not updated with Beta software and thus doesn't have the ablity to sync HRV Status and hence its status as partially compatiable.
Once that feature is officially rolled out I supsect that status will change.
it's under Settings. The Primary Activity Tracker setting is gone now. So Physio TrueUp gets more functions? That's great news for me, since i like to wear both watches! I can't set my Epix as Primary Training device tho so hope this gets a Update soon
host of new features coming to all watches in regards to physio true up.
You could sign up your Epix for the beta as the inital tranche of physio true up features are in the beta.
No issues with EPIX (version 10.46), fully compatible.
Maybe because your FR920 doesn't support it either and it says that for mine since the FR255 does HRV and stuff in TrueUp.
Your question was about EPIX. Just letting you know there are no issues here. Haven't used the 920XT in months. What software version is your Sean Epix?
10.46
At first it didn't say the partially incompatible, set my forerunner to main device then got the incompatible message
