Workout not registering in vitality

My epix 2 is synced with vitality. Most of the time steps and workouts get registered however I've noticed some workouts aren't...

To obtain points you need a 30/60 min workout to register with 60% or 70% of max HR.

I've had a few now that haven't synced with the app when I've clearly hit the percentage.

I've disconnected and reconnected the connection to vitality but still no data registered. Its actually registered steps but not the workout

Any ideas? Very frustrating

  • I wasn’t getting credit for the >30min average 300cal/hr walls and spoke to them. The Epix wasn't on their unpublicised list of approved devices, but the lady applied some credits and has sent a request for it to be

This morning I have a load of Fitness manual adjustments on my points statement.

  • thats odd as mine has been working. It registers steps as well as workouts but I've noticed some workouts not being registered when I've clearly hit the 60% HR.

    Did you just call vitality?

  • I contacted them over WhatsApp. I've bene getting steps mostly OK, although there was a lag over the weekend where nothing updated & then the Member Zone was down last night, but everything seemed correct this morning. The lady I was chatting to could see all my Garmin data, and worked out what was going wrong pretty quickly (calorie activities working on Fenix 5+ but not Epix2).

Also the text on Vitality isn't massively clear - I think it is the average HR for the activity is important, so if you're 40yr old then it is 60%/70% of 180bpm ie: your average HR for the activity should be over 108bpm or 126bpm. I don't know what happens if your activity is longer than 30min and your HR Is over that for 30min, but drags the average down?
