When I have my watch off my wrist the display turns on at the slightest vibration. I have AOD off and this happens with display On or Off. When it's on my wrist it works as it should.
Any ideas to keep it always off when it's not on my wrist?

Turn the watch off or don't move the watch. I don't know another solution.
That's insane. There's no way to keep the display from constantly turning on without completely shutting the watch off?
I had this glitch occur after an update, but hard rebooting the device (holding light button until it turns off) solved the issue.
Don't get me wrong when off the wrist, bumps/heavy vibrations can still trigger the wake function, but if no vibrations/bumps etc then it doesn't occur.
You could also consider using display mode - basically turns off screen unless you press a button or there are specific alerts. (its a control function so can get it on the control wheel - not sure if can link to hotkey).
I used to have exactly this behaviour as long as the watch was connected to the charging cable. I thought it was a feature because I actually found it practical that you only had to tap the table briefly and the display switched on.
This behaviour has completely disappeared since one of the last versions (I think since 13.x) and I miss it.
